KANG KONG WITH BBQ PRAWNS

Colourful and packed with nutrition, this is a quick and easy favourite with a distinctive Asian flair. (Video - David Daniels cooks Asian Vegetables →)

Cooking Time: 4 minutes

Ingredients (serves 2)
  • 1 bunch Kang Kong
  • 1 small red chilli (chopped)
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 2 tbs light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
Method
  1. Separate Kang Kong leaves from the stems, then roughly chop the stems.
  2. Heat Some oil in a wok and add the garlic & chilli -- cook until fragrant.
  3. Add Kang Kong stems and stir fry about 30 seconds over high heat, then add the leaves & sauces - stir quickly until the leaves are just wilted.
  4. Add capsicum right at the end.
  5. Add sauces & strir through.
  6. Garnish with chopped spring onions and coriander and top with BBQ Prawns.
